Our Team

Our team is comprised of professional group members and project managers who operate Green Peak Group and provide expertise to our clients. Professional Group Members (PGM) include our founders who are involved in the day-to-day operations, and green professionals who represent our service provider companies.

By working together, this team is able to accomplish Green Peak Group's mission to provide clients with comprehensive solutions to their building needs, all under one roof. Ron DiGiacomo

Chief Operating Officer, Professional Group Member
As a Professional Group Member, Ron DiGiacomo brings to Green Peak Group an expertise in assessing procedures involving building cleaning and maintenance protocols. Mr. DiGiacomo provides GPG clients with complete evaluations and recommendations for taking buildings green using LEED guidelines set forth by the USBGC (U.S. Building Green Council).

Gene H. Stern, LEED AP

Professional Group Member
Mr. Stern has spent over 30 years in the construction industry and is presently the Business Development Manager for McQuay International. Mr. Stern has worked as a mechanical contractor, as a Building Automation System Engineer, as a manufacturer's representative in plumbing and heating, as an Account Executive in HVAC equipment, and served as a Senior Executive for an advanced filtration manufacturing company.

Dr. Ronald J. Vitori, LEED AP

As a founder and professional group member of Green Peak Group, Dr. Vitori brings a lifetime of leadership, vision and experience in achieving the integrated approach to building design and construction. Dr. Ronald Vitori, MD has over 30 years of experience in the construction industry and is a leader in promoting green building development on Long Island.

Lauren Graham, LEED AP

Project Manager
As a Project Manager for Green Peak Group, Ms. Graham brings the enthusiastic, entrepreneurial spirit and drive upon which the green movement thrives. Possessed with a socially conscience mindset, she is instrumental in developing GPG’s processes in sustainable construction management and consulting services both externally and internally. She works hand-in-hand with Professional Group Members to determine methods of best practices to achieve these goals and the most efficient strategies for continued growth.

Bosko Samardzic, LEED AP

Project Manager

Bosko Samardzic is a Project Manager at Green Peak Group who brings six years of international project and construction management experience to our work. He is a LEED accredited professional and an architect. He conducted his Masters thesis on the sustainable renovation of an urban residential area of important historical significance in Europe.

Richard W. Wiedersum, AIA LEED AP

Professional Group Member
Richard (Rick) Wiedersum has almost 25 years of design and management experience, having worked on a wide range of projects involving new buildings, major additions, renovation and modernization programs for educational, municipal, private and medical clients. As a Principal of the firm for over 13 years, he has been responsible for the design, operations and management of the firm during that period.

Dan O'Sullivan, PE LEED AP

Professional Group Member
Dan O'Sulilvan, P.E., LEED AP, is Vice President and principal at Lizardos Engineering. He received his Bachelor's in mechanical engineering from SUNY Buffalo and is licensed in New York, New Jersey and Puerto Rico. He is an active member of ASHRAE and the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), and is a member of the Health Care Committee of the USGBC. His expertise includes central utility plant design, laboratory design, piping and HVAC.

Thomas Weingarten, P.E.

Professional Group Member
Tom Weingarten, P.E., is a Director at Power Management Concepts. Mr. Weingarten has over 30 years of mission critical and energy industry experience in the management, engineering, design, construction and operation of high reliability facilities. He is a licensed Professional Engineer and earned his B.S.E.E. in Power and Energy from Polytechnic Institute of New York and his M.B.A. from Adelphi University.

Keith Samaroo

Professional Group Member
Mr. Samaroo is a Vice President for PS&S and has more than 20 years of experience assisting clients in evaluating and implementing solutions to their energy needs. These clients include major real estate developers, corporate clients and industrial facility owners. He is responsible for management and marketing of energy services in the Con Ed and O & R service territories and is responsible for creating new relationships with clients, as well as enhancing existing client relationships.

Thomas Hyland, LEED AP

Professional Group Member
Tom has more than 16 years of experience as a mechanical engineer. He is currently the director of the northeast region for the commissioning authority, WorkingBuildings. He began his career as a manufacturer's representative specializing in state-of-the-art products serving the HVAC industry. He continued to develop his knowledge working for an award winning design build mechanical firm specializing in laboratory, pharmaceutical and clean room projects.

Tom Baccarella

Professional Group Member

Tom Baccarella is project manager at the New York Building Technology group, and a 31 year veteran of the Long Island construction industry. He is a certified HERS rater, LEED-H and NAHB Green Verifier, and energy consultant with New York Building Technology Group focusing on residential energy conservation and green building.

Chas Anders Hall, PE CEM LEED AP

Professional Group Member
Mr. Hall has more than thirty-five years of experience in the optimization and management of energy and utilities costs, with both front- and bottom-line responsibility for the establishment, operations, and management of utility expense control for private and public ownerships. In addition, he has more than a decade of experience in energy and utilities consulting to major real estate ownerships and asset management companies.

Charles Goulding, CPA

Charles Goulding is a Professional Group Member who possesses vast experience on both sides of the “Green” issue: reducing energy usage and saving money. He offers GPG clients more than 30 years of professional insight and excellence as founder and president of Energy Tax Savers, Inc. (ETSI). The nation’s leading provider of Energy Policy Act (EPAct) Tax Services, ETSI assists property owners in obtaining greater economic dividends from the building of energy-reducing investments. His unique “double-punch” as both an attorney and CPA make him a highly valued asset to the GPG team.

Jennifer Appel

Professional Group Member

Jennifer Appel is a registered landscape architect and a licensed irrigator. As a principal of Landsculputure & Design since 1993, her design/build landscape architecture practice (www.landscapehouston.com) has been listed as one of the Houston Business Journal's Top 25 Landscape Architecture firms is an Inaugural Aggie 100 honoree. Ms. Appel's expertise includes green/sustainable design for residential, commercial, subdivision, drainage, and Appel Green Roof applications. Michael Gianchetta, LEED AP

Michael J. Gianchetta is vice president of GIANCO Environmental Services in Brentwood. Gianchetta has been a member of the US Green Building Council, Long Island Chapter (USGBC-LI) for the past four years. This past year, following his service on the board of directors he was elected to the executive board and is co-chair of the chapter's membership committee.

Gilles Fouquart

Devising innovative solutions for reducing waste and recycling costs makes Gilles Fouquart a valuable resource to GPG clients. As owner of Novus Waste Consulting, LLC, he helps companies save money while preserving the environment utilizing a proven methodology developed by its corporate affiliate, Environmental Waste Solutions.

As the founder and president of New York Technology Group and Suffolk Bureau of Electrical Inspections, Gene Surdi brings a lifetime of experience, and knowledge to the Long Island construction industry. Gene has over 32 years of experience as a lead engineering technician with one of Long Island's leading research and development laboratories.
